CURRENTLY READING
The Rook by Daniel O’Malley is a book I discovered while blog hoppingg. The review instantly sucked me in and despite the fact that I thought it was a longshot, I checked NetGalley and there it was! Of course I requested it and the rest is history. I was so super excited to finally start it last week and so far I’m enjoying it. It’s not quite what I expected but that’s not proving to be a bad thing. I like surprises and this book is not lacking. Have you read The Rook? Is it on your reading list?
NEXT ON MY READING LIST
Starters carries over from my last reading list while Practical Jean is a book I started reading, stopped, and haven’t gone back to in a while. However, thanks to my new book-picking-tool (put books in a list and pick a number using random.org), I’m going to get the chance to read it! Of course, now I have to decide which of these to read first. Decisions, decisions.

Wow, more books to read I haven’t heard of! No, I haven’t read The Rook so I looked it up-it does sound good. The others too, although since you stopped with the one, makes me wonder if it’s going to be a ‘go’!
The Rook is pretty good so far with tons of potential to get better. Starters looks brilliant and Practical Jean has a really good story behind it, a story that really appeals to me even though it’s a slow read of sorts.
I’m gonna have to check out The Book – I didn’t see it when I was browsing NetGalley the other day – but it looks interesting!
Well, to be honest I found it on NetGalley in January. That’s how behind I am. :S But it really is!
Never heard of The Rook, but I’m off to Amazon to look it up!

Thanks! Wow 800?! I only have 27 but I’m technically only choosing from my NetGalley books. I fell behind with them and I’m making a major effort to read and review them.
I have so many great books piled up that I desperately want to read! Ah! I’ve seen Starters around, the cover is so intriguing, I just want to stare at it! Glad you are joining in!
