Hey guys! It’s October 30th, 2017!!! The official return date of Words That Fly. While I’ve been out of the blogging and book review life for a few years, I’m back now and ready to go and I have some amazing books to review for you guys in the coming months.
To start us off, I’ve decided to stick with the winning feature: “It’s Monday! What Are You Readings” hosted by Kathryn at Book Date with the YA version being hosted by Kellee of Unleashing Readers and Jen over at Teach Mentor Texts. This feature is a great way to share what you’ve read, plan out your reading week, and to take a peek at what great books other people reading !
JUST FINISHED READING
I finished this yesterday morning at about 5am; it was really just so engrossing that I had to forego sleep and see how things turned out. I’m glad to say it did not disappoint and I look forward to sharing my review with you guys.
So, I’ve literally just started this book and I’ve got high hopes. Fingers crossed it’s as good as I hope it will be!
NEXT ON MY READING LIST
So interesting-ish story, before last week I’d never read a book by P. C. Cast. Then I walked into this cute little artisan type café/ restaurant/ whatever it was and realized that had two bookshelves just full of books. I asked: “Oh, are these books here so patrons can eat and read?” The guy behind the desk cheerfully told me people can just walk in and take the books should any of them interest them. He added that we didn’t even have to bring them back. Needless to say I was intrigued (I have every intention of taking back the books and donating a few more)! I devoured Goddess of Love, book 5 in her Goddess Summoning series, and decided I needed to give her House of Night series a try. Has anyone else read this book?
That’s pretty much it for what’s on my reading list this week guys. Firebolt is pretty long and I’ve just returned to work after a pretty awesome two week vacation, so I definitely have to slow down on the reading and get back into the flow of my 9 to 5. Here’s to hoping every one of you has an awesome Monday! And be sure to let me know what you’re reading this week or have read recently.
