Hey guys! It’s Monday once again and I’m hitting you with a late post. My Monday was pretty great and to help end yours on a good note, here’s another “It’s Monday! What Are You Readings” post! This feature is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date with the YA version being hosted by Kellee of Unleashing Readers and Jen over at Teach Mentor Texts. This feature is a great way to share what you’ve read, plan out your reading week, and to take a peek at what great books other people reading !
JUST FINISHED READING
So, I’ve been hearing a lot about Sarah J. Mass and I’ve been a tad ashamed to admit that I’ve never read one of her books. So I said, everyone gushes about her writing, it couldn’t hurt to buy one of her books. And oh-em-gee: loved it. But more on that later.
Still reading this. This is definitely one of the books I’ll be reviewing in the future so I don’t want to give too much away but I will say this: if you experience strong feelings of embarssment on behalf of characters or get strong second hand embarrassment then #beware. #thatisall
I’ve always prided myself as a big Jane Austen fan, I mean have you read Pride and Prejudice? But I realized I kind of need to experience her other books and somehow previous attempts have failed. So I decided to start with Sense and Sensibility. I have four words thus far: “Marianne, please just stop”.
NEXT ON MY READING LIST
Still really eager to read this, I guess the difficulty is the fact it’s a physical book as opposed to a kindle book and it just means more weight everyday.
So as guessed, my reading really has slowed down since my return to work but I;ve still managed to read some really good books. How was your Monday and what are you guy reading?
