Guys, I missed a week but now I’m back with another “It’s Monday! What Are You Readings” post. This feature is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date with the YA version being hosted by Kellee of Unleashing Readers and Jen over at Teach Mentor Texts. This feature is a great way to share what you’ve read, plan out your reading week, and to take a peek at what great books other people reading !
JUST FINISHED READING
I read Victoria Aveyard’s Red Queen quite a while ago, but there’s always buzz about this series so I decided to give Glass Sword a try. While I’m not sure if I’ll be reviewing this book or not, what I can say is that broken characters are my new favourite thing.
CURRENTLY READING
Yes, I am still reading these. Not that they’re terrible but I just needed time for other stuff and then Glass Sword sucked me in.
NEXT ON MY READING LIST
As you can see, I’m still determined to read Marked, but now I have two shiny new books that I really want to read. The first is The Girl and the Grove by Eric Smith and this was provided to me by Flux through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I’m really thankful to them and I look forward to reading this and giving feedback. The second is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and as you may or may not know/ remember, I’m really trying to read the classics. More importantly though: I’m addicted to Alexa Donne, a 2018 debut author, who constantly describes her book as Jane Eyre in space. And because I’m #obsessed, I have to read Jane Eyre before I read her book. Obviously. 🙂
Work and studying has really slowed me down reading wise but I think I can still squeeze in two good books this week. What about you guys?
How was your Monday and what are you guy reading?
Kris.
